Dear BelTox member,

In order to comply with Belgian legislation on non-profit organizations, the BelTox balance sheet and budget need to be approved by the General Assembly.

The statutes of BelTox allow us to organize a General Assembly via the internet. You are therefore kindly invited to review and mark your approval of the BelTox balance sheet 2024 and budget 2025.

The BelTox Board would like to provide some clarification on the negative balance sheet for 2024. Whereas the BelTox expenses in 2024 were in line with the 2024 budget forecast, the final income was not, due to a decrease in sponsorship. The BelTox Board has already started working on measures, which after approval and support of the Steering Committee, will be implemented in the course of 2025. However, the board chose to be cautious and opted to forecast a negative budget for 2025, as the measures taken will require some time to result in a positive effect. Thanks to the responsible management of the budget by BelTox over the past years, we have sufficient reserves providing us the time required to build a long-term solution.

    2. Budget for 2025

The legal statutes of our society require that as many members as possible participate in this vote. It is therefore important that we receive as much feedback as possible.

Once the balance sheet and the budget have been approved by BelTox members our accountant office will then be able to deposit these documents at the registry of the commercial courts of Brussels together with the minutes of the GA24 before end of June.
