BelTox is organizing an introductory training in toxicology and ecotoxicology in collaboration with CEFIC, the European Chemical Industry Council.
This 1-day training with specialized speakers will take place on Wednesday the 28th of May from 09:00 to 17:00 at the premises of CEFIC (Rue Belliard 40, Brussels). The training is intended for non-toxicologists and does not require an elaborate (bio-)scientific background.
This course will provide you with more knowledge on the following lectures:
- Introduction to toxicology,
- Human health hazards,
- Environmental hazards,
- (Eco-)toxicology testing: the different sources of information: in vivo, in vitro, in silico, grouping and read-across,
- Environmental fate,
- Human exposure and risk assessment,
- Environmental exposure and risk assessment,
- Cefic Action plan to transition and phase out animal testing in chemical safety.
During the course there will be ample time for questions to our speakers:
