Dear BelTox member,
Usually we organize a General Assembly in November/December at the occasion of our Annual Meeting to report on the activities of the current year and the planned activities of the coming year. In May, we organize an online General Assembly to vote on the financial balance of the previous year and the budget of the current year. Since the EUROTOX 2018 congress replaced the Annual Meeting in 2018 no General Assembly took place near the end of the year.
Therefore, please find herewith an overview of our activities in 2018, the planned activities for 2019, the balance sheet for 2018 and the budget for 2019: Beltox GA 2019 online final.
In order to comply with Belgian legislation on non-profit organizations, the BelTox balance sheet and budget need to be approved by a General Assembly meeting which should take place before the end of June 2019. The BelTox statutes allow us to organize a General Assembly via internet. You are therefore kindly invited to mark in the form at the bottom of this page your approval of the BelTox balance sheet 2018 and budget 2019 (slides 7 & 8 of the above document).
The legal statutes of our Society require that as many members as possible participate in this vote. It is therefore important that we receive as much feedback as possible!
Once the balance sheet and the budget have been approved by BelTox membership our accountant office will then be able to deposit these documents at the registry of the commercial courts of Brussels before end of June.
